New interfaces to two OpenNTF.org projects: !!Help!! and Vacation Requests

with 2 comments

I have created new interfaces for the > Task Management project on > OpenNTF.org. The first is an interface to the most downloaded application on OpenNTF > !!Help!!. In the sidebar plugin you can see your tickets, which are in progress. The plugin contains six columns: task name, activated date, priority, assigend to, classification and the ticket number.  If you click on a row, the ticket in the Helpdesk application will be opened. The second interface is for the > Vacation Request project. In the plugin you can see the Leave Requests which are out for your approval. For each request you can see seven columns in the plugin: subject, name, start date, priority, duration, team, type and location. Since a request has no priority field, it will be calculated with the difference between today and the start date.

Second time in cinema in this year

leave a comment »

Yesterday evening I was in the > cinema to watching the new > Avatar movie. It was my second movie which I saw this year. The first movie was Ice Age 3. Both movies were with 3D effects. Although I’m not a fan of fantasy and sicence fiction stories, the 3D effect was impressive. But it was too long for me. The movie started at 10:30 pm and ended at 1:20 am. Twenty or thirty minutes less, would have been better. But of course, it is difficult to explain such a complex story to the audience.

leave a comment »

Some weeks ago > PAVONE has published a new solution called > PAVONElive. It is an online solution for activity, project and process management. With it you can record your daily activities and projects. Further, it is possible to model processes and perform the processes in the solution. Except the process modeling software which has to be install on your client, it is not neccessary to install the software. Since the current version is a beta version, the usage is free of charge. You can test PAVONElive on http://www.pavonelive.com. Although it is from PAVONE, a long-term IBM Business Partner, PAVONElive is a Java EE solution and runs not on an IBM Lotus Domino server.

You can follow PAVONElive on Twitter: http://twitter.com/pavonelive.
