PMI: Blogging for Business Results
On the PMI.org website I found the article ‘Blogging for Business Results‘. It describes some reasons for the usage of blogs in projects. One reason could be to cut down the e-mails and meetings of a project team. In several cases a communication in a project team blog can be better than e-mails. If you write an article in a blog each project member can answer to the article at the same place. It is not necessary to respond to the e-mail, which will be lost in the e-mail boxes of each project member. But the face-to-face communication in a meeting is in some cases very important for the project success. In meetings a project member can become better acquainted with each other and can learn the behavior of the others.
