Your own Football Club

leave a comment »

You want to own a football club and decide which players should be buy and sell? The MyFootballClub
initiative has published a deal with Ebbsfleet United FC. Ebbsfleet plays in the Blue Square Premier league in England. This is the first league below the four professional leagues in England. Each member of MyFootballClub has to pay 35 Pf each year. For this, he or she can vote on team selection and decide about the players acquisition.

I Think I Like It (Part II)

leave a comment »

Since last week I use the Flock browser very often, instead of the Mozilla Firefox. Although, I do not use
the social networking features of Flock, I like the better design and some small features. For example, it shows a box if a website contains a RSS feed or shows the media stream of a website. The Flock browser is based on the Firefox engine. Unfortunately, it has some problems when I use Google Analytics with Flash animations.

Another Lotus Connection community

leave a comment »

Today, I saw a link to the EULUC (European Lotus User Club). Behind this page you find another Lotus Connections installation, besides Lotus Greenhouse. The main language is german, since it is an initiative of the DNUG (German Notes User Group). Further, Lotus Greenhouse is now open for public access. In Lotus Greenhouse you find my other blog.

Song of the week: I Think I Like It

leave a comment »

I’m not really a fan of hip hop and rap music,
but this song is good: ‘I Think I Like It’ by Sabrina
Setlur
. If you hear it, you are
put into good humor and your feet want to move…

Virtual Kicker League

leave a comment »

Dojo Toolkit 1.0 released

leave a comment »

Since Monday the first release of the Dojo toolkit
is released. With Dojo you can develop ‘Ajax’ websites with JavaScript.
Dojo is used by the IBM Software Group, for example in Lotus Connections
and Websphere Commerce.

The press
release
say "Dojo provides
easy-to-use, high-quality UI components and JavaScript infrastructure critical
for building responsive web applications without the need for proprietary
plugins or single-vendor solutions. Only 25K in size, the base of Dojo
delivers key support for Ajax, progressive enhancement, animations, and
opens the door to a wealth of high-quality widgets and extension modules.
Dojo supports the Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, and Opera browsers."

You can download it on dojotoolkit.org.
