Live blogging & streaming from Lotusphere

leave a comment »

This year several people blogs live from the Opening Session of the Lotusphere 2009. First, I followed the LotusphereBlog. A little bit later I added the Lotusphere Live blog and the streaming of IdoNotes TV. The image of the video was a little bit small, but a very nice service! Thank you, all!

46.902 Euro for a weblog

leave a comment »

The weblog ‘Basic Thinking‘ was sold on Thursday for 46.902 Euro. In Germany this is (was) a very popular blog. It was bought by a company called serverloft, which is a German hosting and internet-service company. My prospection was that the selling price would be higher. But of course, it is a lot of money.

How to enabled check marks in IBM Lotus Notes 8.5 inbox?

leave a comment »

A colleague gave the tip: In the Preferences you can set the option “Show check marks in margin for selected documents”. Then you can mark the documents as in previous Notes versions (lower than 8).

Installation of IBM Lotus Notes 8.5

leave a comment »

Last week I have installed the Notes, Designer and Admin client. Since I install all programs on my d: partition, I entered "d:\temp\Lotus Notes" as path for the temporary files in the installation program. But this is only possible, if you have over 701 MB free disk space on partition C:. Why I can enter another drive if the installation program will use ever C:\?

… if you have some spare time between the sessions you should come to predestal #205 in the showroom. There the PAVONE AG will present their IBM Lotus Notes/Domino based Process Control Suite.

“PAVONE PCS is a trend-setting, fully integrated framework of project management, workflow, office, CRM and mail solutions, complemented by world class consulting, implementation services and strong partners. Snow

leave a comment »

Today it snows the whole day. The last two, three years we had less snow in East Westphalia. I’m happy that after the move I can walk to the office, to the city or to the fitness centre.

Besuch im GOP Variete-Theater

leave a comment »

Gestern Abend (Silvester) war ich im GOP
Variete-Theater Kaiserpalais
in Bad Oeynhausen.
